| CARE and APPLICATION: |
| |
The coconut shea butter cream is solid at room temperature but will melt in heat, place in a cooler environment to firm up.
Or you could leave it in the melted state, it glides on easier. Personally, I like it a little melted, it will spread on like warm butter after a
bath or shower, which is really the proper way to moisturize. If you like it this way then try the Koni Hawaiian Oils. Once the cream goes through
extreme hot and cold temperatures, it may become grainy. Like most things that are natural, they are reacting to their environment. The only way to keep
shea butter or coconut oil stable is to introduce some type of additive and that really defeats the purpose of it being all natural. The cream has a
long shelf life due to the high content of the antioxidant vitamin E found in both the unrefined shea butter and coconut oil. As with any new skin
product you should always do a Patch Test even for products that are all natural. Apply a very, very small amount of coconut shea butter (about the
size of a grape will cover most of one arm) by dabbing small amounts on different areas of your skin. I have found that massaging the cream into your skin
works best. After a few uses you will be able to gauge how much to use.
For Surfers Rash:
A great surfers rash cream. Saltwater really dries out and irritates the skin. After surfing or any
water sport take your wetsuit/rash guard off as soon as possible, leaving a damp wetsuit on for hours can irritate
the skin and sand in your suit acts like sandpaper rubbing against your skin. The natural vitamins and minerals in the
coconut shea butter cream nourishes and protects the skin and helps prevent flaking and rashes.
For hair frizzes you can apply a small amount to tame da beastly hair. |
