It's late afternoon and I hear the waves lightly rolling in on the shore. The sun is casting its shadow on the native palms,
then a small breeze wisps by my shoulder as if to take away the cares of the world. Then the sky unfolds before me declaring the awesome sunset in Hawai'i.
Within moments I am sitting in the sand watching, and waiting with anticipation, absorbing the spectacular view in a 360. Aware of my surroundings only as
if a faded picture, the sunset takes front and center, majestically lowering into the indigo sea, and painting an indelible picture. I think my senses were
heightened due to the fact that my sight senses were diminishing by the sun setting and my sense of smell took over. The sand, sea, flowers and fruit slowly
become more noticeable... then out of those experiences, Koni Hawaiian was created.
Traveling to the beautiful Hawaiian Islands for 28 years now, I have found nothing that compares to the sights and scents of the islands.
Trying to capture it in a container I thought was nearly impossible. As a licensed massage therapist I have worked with many creams and oils. I have blended
essential oils with massage oils and shea butter to try and obtain the scent of Hawai'i. I was like a mad scientist, mixing this and that and finally coming
up with a blend in the Tropical 808 cream that to me is as close as I can get to the fragrant aroma of Hawai'i.
